  • Sarah Louise Stenton, a former doctoral candidate from the PhD program Medical Life Science and Technology, received the prestigious Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize for her thesis “Mitochondrial disease: elucidating genetic aetiology by variant discovery, validation, and integration with clinical phenotype”.

  • Doctoral candidates that are interested in scientific study to focus on the topic of multiple sclerosis in their dissertation have the option to apply to be chosen for a MyLab program.

  • Like every year, all doctoral candidates at MGC are choosing their representatives for the steering committee of their program and MGC managing board.

    The elections take place online from 11.10.2022 until 17.10.2022.

  • All MGC doctoral candidates that entered the doctoral candidate's list after 2017 have to take the "Good Scientific Practice" course. During the last years, MGC has been offering courses in German and English. 

    We have just added new dates for the winter semester 2022-23. All that still need to take the course can check the dates in their DocGS account and register for one of the dates.

  • The fourth networking event in the Lead & Inspire series will take place on October 6th, 2022, under the motto Women Drive Innovation.

    The event series, orgganised by Novartis Deutschland, is designed to inspire women to pursue careers in medical and scientific fields. Attendees will have the chance to question speakers directly, share ideas and experiences, and make new connections.
