Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women* scientists and the science they do. The aim of Soapbox Science is to inspire people to become science enthusiasts and to solidify the image of women* as scientists. The application deadline is February 28th.
The Soapbox Arena in Munich take place at Odeonsplatz on Saturday on 1st July from 14:00 – 17:00.
Soapbox Science speakers will be on stage for one hour. The talks can be in German or English. There is no power-point (but props are welcomed). Organizers will provide you with a speaker's pack and help develop the talk with a public speaking workshop. Participants can also take a look at last year's speakers and their talks at the online event on Youtube channel/webpage.
